AEROSPACE

October 17, 2012

Throughout the marvelous odyssey of the conquest of space, the aerospace industry has played a determining role in enabling man’s dream of exploring the heavens.

Approximately 40 international companies within the aerospace industry employ more than twelve thousand people within our region, who work to meet the goals of this sector. Highly specialized personnel, committed to excellence, successfully fortify Tijuana’s aerospace industry, which focuses on the assembly and manufacture of both civilian and military aircraft components.

In Tijuana alone, there are 25 established companies, employing nearly six thousand people. Such a force to be reckoned with makes this border an area conducive to investment and growth in the aerospace industry.

Tijuana Innovadora provides a forum to present the region’s key contributions in this area and to learn of new challenges and promises for the future of the aerospace industry in Baja California.
